Barkatullah University Convocation 2017 To Be Held Today: Murli Manohar Joshi Is Chief Guest

New Delhi: Barkatullah University, Bhopal will hold its convocation 2017 today at the Gyan Vigyan Bhavan at the university and the chief guest of the ceremony will be former Union Minister of Human Resource Development and seniour BJP Leader Murli Manohar Joshi. Madhya Pradesh State Governor Om Prakash Kohli will precede the convocation ceremony  while the University Vice Chancellor M. D. Tiwari and Higher Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh government Jaibhan Singh Pawaiya will also participate in the ceremony.

Barkatullah University had earlier made all the arrangements to download the entry ticket for the candidates who wanted to participate to receive the awards in the convocation ceremony. According to the university notification the students will be given be given gold medals and certificates.

Meanwhile, The state economic offences (EOW) wing issued a notice to BU authorities recently seeking a detailed report and documents related to international conference on stem cell the university conducted in 2015. The EOW launched an enquiry into allegations of irregularities against former registrar Lonu Singh Solanki. The conference was organised in 2015 on BU campus, which was permitted by vice-chancellor Prof MD Tiwari, reported TOI.
