Bihar Board Expected To Announce Matric Exam Result 2017 Date Today

Contrary to reports, Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will not declare the result for matric board exam today. As per reports in several regional newspapers, the result for Bihar Board Matric exam 2017 will be declared in the coming two-three days. The board will most likely announce the result declaration date of Bihar board 10th class today. The further delay in the result could be attributed to the Board's last minute decision to award grace marks to students who fail in one or two papers.
The board had sent the proposal to award grace marks to the state government and received approval on June 14. As per the proposal, the board will award grace marks up to 8 marks to students. Also, students who miss a division by a few marks will be awarded grace marks up to 5 marks.
It is expected that the decision to award grace marks would help boost the pass percentage this year. There are speculations that the matric result this year is poor, almost similar to intermediate results and hence this step has been taken by the board to improve the overall performance. Last year, only 44.46% students had passed the Bihar Board matric exams.
There are also reports that the board, this time, is conducting physical verification of toppers so as to avoid the kind of fiasco seen during the intermediate results. However, there has been no official confirmation in this regard from the board yet.

Step three: Enter your examination roll number and other details on the page open next and click on submit.
