CBSE Class 10 Exam Updates: 'Balanced Paper', Check Social Science Paper Analysis Of Term 1

CBSE term 1 exam for Class 10 students was inducted today and more than 21 lakh students appeared for the examination.

Ipsita Mani, TGT Social Science, Mount Abu Public School, Rohini said, "Today's social science paper was a combination of  simple and some tricky questions. Overall the  paper  contained good questions for the students to attempt."

Swapnil Gupta, a Class 10 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Masjid Moth reviewed the paper as balanced. According to the candidate, "The questions were quite easy. One who solved NCERT well, can expect a good score." Read More

Parveen Shaikh, Principal, The Somaiya School analysing the Social Science paper of CBSE term 1 exam said: "The Social Science paper had a good mix of questions catering to all kinds of students. Students are happy with the offline examination. They are comfortable with having the examination in school.After this paper, students are confident for the remaining papers."

Seema Behl, Principal, Brain International School said, "The paper was balanced. Question number 40 in the paper had same choices, the candidates who appeared in the exam mentioned that some questions were a bit twisted,  but overall it was a moderate paper." 

The candidates who appeared in Social Science paper reviewed the paper as balanced, with questions are of easier type. Sanand Agarwal, a DPS student said, "The paper was quite easy. There were some twisted questions, but overall its a balanced paper," Sanand said. 

According to Swapnil Gupta, a class 10 student of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Masjid Moth, "The paper was balanced, the questions were not at all tough. One who solved NCERT well, can expect a good score." 

The first day of the  Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) term 1 class 10 major exams has been concluded. The candidates appeared for the Social Science paper, the exam will get over on December 11.

The CBSE term 1 Social Science Paper will conclude at 1 pm.

CBSE Class 10 board exam marks of term 1 will be added with term 2 marks to derive the CBSE board 2022 result.

The board offers 114 total subjects in Class 12 and 75 in Class 10. Out of the total 114 Class 12 subjects, 19 subjects are major subjects and the rest are minor subjects. In Class 10, out of the total 75 subjects, nine are major, while the remaining 66 subjects are minor subjects.

The term 1 CBSE exams for the minor papers will start from November 16 for Class 12 for the major papers from December 12.

The CBSE Class 10th exam 2021 will have MCQ based questions including case-based MCQs and MCQs on assertion-reasoning type.

CBSE Class 10 exans for major papers start with SST paper.

For internal assessments, project works and practical exams of term 1, CBSE said that schools can hold these by December 23 and upload the marks by December 23, 2021. Failure to upload marks by December 23, CBSE said it might declare the result without taking into consideration the term 1 internal assessment, project and practical marks, or declare the result based on term 2 exams only.
