CSIR UGC NET June 2017 Notification Out; Apply Now

New Delhi: Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Examination Unit has released the online registration window for the Joint CSIR-UGC Test June session. The candidates can go to the official website of CSIR Human Resource Development Group and register for the exam. CSIR will hold the Joint CSIR-UGC Test tentatively on Sunday 18 June, 2017 for determining the eligibility of the candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET and for determining eligibility for appointment of Lecturers (NET) in certain subject areas falling under the faculty of Science & Technology, said a notification from the council.  

The award of Junior Research Fellowship (NET) to the successful eligible candidates will depend on their finding recruitment in a university or a national laboratory or an institution of higher learning and research, as applicable.

CSIR UGC NET June 2017: Important Dates

1. Date of start of online submission: 8 February 2017
2. Date of close of deposit of fee (all station): 7 March 2017
3. Date of close of online submission of application (all station):  8 March 017
4. Last date of receipt of completed hard copy of online application in the Examination Unit: 14 March 2017
5. Last date of receipt of completed hard copy of online application in the Examination Unit (from remote areas): 21 March 2017
6. Last Date for receipt of written request for change of Examination Centre only on merit basis: 20 April 2017
7. Tentative date of Publication of list of candidates registered for test on CSIR, HRDG website: 16 May 2017
8. Last date for accepting of representation about non-registration for this test: 23 May 2017
9. Issue of admit cards to registered candidates:  1st week of June 2017

CSIR UGC NET June 2017 Results 

According to the CSIR UGC NET June 2017 notification the final result of this Single MCQ test may
be declared sometime in the month of Sept/Oct, 2017 and fellowship to successful candidates will be effective from 1st January, 2018 with the validity period of 2 years for joining the fellowship under CSIR Scheme.
