Delhi University UG Admission 2017: Online Registration To Start Tomorrow

New Delih: Delhi University (DU) or University of Delhi will start the online registration process of the Undergraduate (UG) admissions tomorrow. According to a press release from the University of Delhi, the process for undergraduate admissions will start from May 22, earlier than last year, but, late than the plans DU had. DU announced that online registrations for its 60 UG programmes in 62 colleges affiliated with the University with around 54,000 seats will take place between May 22 and June 12. The online registration process of all the programmes will be completely online including Sports, Extra Curricular Activities (ECA), Kashmiri Migrants, CW (Defence), and PwD categories.

The details of registration process and subsequent procedure will be available in the Bulletin of Information, which will be uploaded online soon.  

DU released the list of under graduate courses for which it will be conducting entrance test for admission. This year the university will be conducting entrance test for a total of nine under graduate courses.

Whereas, applicants choosing other courses - merit based courses - will be evaluated on cut-off marks based on Class 12 Board results. According to DU, first cut-off list for the merit based admission will be announced on June 20. 

However, further cut-off lists may be announced depending on vacant seats in colleges, reported PTI.

DU also announced the admission schedule of Ph.D., M.Phil. and Postgraduate courses for the academic session 2017-2018.

The schedule of online registration for admission to various programmes is as given below:

UG Merit Based Programmes:  May 22, 2017
UG Entrance Based Programmes:  May 31, 2017
PG Programmes:  May 31, 2017
MPhil,  PhD Programmes:  May 31, 2017
