New Delhi: On Engineer's Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted his tribute to M. Visvesvaraya and expressed his appreciation for the role engineers play in the development of our nation. To be precise, he tweeted "I salute all engineers on #EngineersDay & appreciate their paramount role in the development of our nation." In response to his tweet, many engineers on twitter responded with kind thanks for the recognition of the profession from the PM, but there were others who could not stop making jokes on the 'paramount role' of an engineer.
