GATE 2024 Candidates To Be Recruited For Executive Trainee Posts By NMDC

The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) Limited, a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Steel, Government of India, has announced that it will invite applications from those who take the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 for the position of Executive Trainee (Tech). According to NMDC, the company is currently undergoing significant expansion and diversification in India and abroad.

In its official statement, NMDC said, "NMDC Ltd is actively engaged in extensive expansion and diversification, both within India and internationally. We intend to recruit Executive Trainees (Tech.) as per our requirements for the year 2024 and beyond."

The company further stated, "NMDC Ltd has planned to recruit Executive Trainees (Tech.) based on requirements during the year 2024 and beyond. For the recruitment applications will be invited from candidates who have appeared for GATE 2024 examination."

GATE 2024 examination

The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled for February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Candidates can receive their admit cards starting on January 3, 2024. Answer keys are set to be released on February 21, 2024, and the results will be officially released on March 16, 2024.

GATE exam structure 

The GATE 2024 examination will be held online, spanning two separate sessions. It will comprise a total of 30 test papers, including both full papers and sectional papers. The question types include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Multiple Select Questions (MSQs), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Candidates have the flexibility to choose one or two test papers from the allowed two-paper combinations. The GATE score acquired by candidates will remain valid for a period of three years from the date of the result declaration. GATE 2024 will introduce a new test paper on Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (DA). The examination will have a duration of three hours.
