Haryana Board of School Educaition or HBSE has released the HBSE 10th results today. The HBSE or BSEH 10th results will be online soon at results.bseh.org.in, the official result portal of the state education board. A release from the HBSE said 64.59% of the total students who took the Class 10 exam this year from schools affiliated to the Haryana board have passed. The pass percentage among girl students is 69.86% and the pass percentage among boys is 60.27%. A total number of 3,37,691 candidates appeared for the exam and out of which 2,18,120 candidates qualified for higher education.
Candidates unsatisfied with the results can apply for recheck once the recheck link is online. "Re-check fee is fixed as Rs 250 per answer book. The Re-checking form with the prescribed fee should reach in Board office within 20 days from the declaration of result," the HBSE informs on its official website.

The official website for HBSE 10th results, results.bseh.org.in, is unresponsive at the moment. Students who have still not checked the results are advised to wait some time and refresh the web page.
HBSE said that the marking scheme is similar to that adopted by the CBSE. “According to the marking policy adopted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani also considered marks based on the average marks of the examination conducted in the subjects and the result has been tabulated accordingly,” HBSE said in an official statement.
In this year’s HBSE 10th results, the pass percentage has seen a considerable increase from the past couple of years when it was at 57.39 per cent in 2019 and 51.5 per cent in 2018.
There are 15 students in the top three ranks for HBSE 10th result this year. Apart from Rishita who is the lone topper, five students share the second rank and nine students share the third rank.
The Haryana Board will be announcing the dates of Class 10 Science exam soon. The board had earlier cancelled the Science exam due to COVID-19 pandemic but will be holding it for students who are interested to pursue science for higher education.
The performance of schools in rural areas and urban areas are at par. This year, 64.39% of the total students who took the exam from schools situated in rural areas have cleared the exam whereas the pass percentage for urban areas is 65%.
Among government schools, the pass percentage is at 59.74% while private schools have a pass percentage of 69.51%.
The pass percentage among girl students is 69.86% and the pass percentage among boys is 60.27%.
The official BSEH result website 'results.bseh.org.in' has crashed. The website is not responding now.

Rishita, a student of Tagore Senior Secondary School, Narnaund, Hisar district has topped the Haryana board Class 10 exam. She has scored 100% in the best five subjects.
Last year, the Haryana Board 10th results were released on May 17. The results are delayed this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
