HTET 2017: Official Notification Soon To Be Released, Exam In December
New Delhi: Haryana Board of Secondary Education (HBSE or commonly known as BSEH) will conduct Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) in December 2017. The official notification, for the same, is not out yet. However with only a month left for the exam to begin, it is likely that the Board may release the notification soon. The notification carrying details of the exam date, pattern, syllabus, eligibility and other information can be found at the official website htet.nic.in as and when it is released.

The Board has made Aadhaar card mandatory for appearing in the state's eligibility test for teachers to be held in December. Haryana School Education Board Chairman Jagbir Singh said that now applications for Haryana Teachers Eligibility Test (HTET) would not be accepted without Aadhaar card.

"The application forms of such candidates whose original documents do not match with Aadhaar cards would be treated as incomplete and would be cancelled. The candidates themselves would be responsible for this," he said in a statement.

The Board expects close to 6 lakh examinees for the exam which will be conducted in two days. On first day the exam will be held in two shifts and on the second day it will be held in one shift. HTET 2017 will be held in 600 centres across Haryana and Chandigarh.
