Hyderabad University, ranked 5th among Universities and 11th under overall category in the NIRF rankings 2018, has begun the application process for admission to its Integrated PG, PG, MTech, MPhil, and PhD courses. The admission to these programmes is through an All India entrance examination. The online application for the entrance exam started on April 1, 2019. The last date for submitting the online application is May 3, 2019.
Students who have a graduate degree in relevant discipline from a recognized University or with an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply for PG courses.
For admission to MTech in I.C. Technology students should have valid GATE score and for MTech in Microelectronics & VLSI and Design Nanoscience and Technology respectively, there will be a written exam and interview. For this, GATE score is not required.
For admission to Ph.D. programmes, students should have a postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
The hall tickets for the entrance exam will be available for download on the official website of Hyderabad University from May 20, 2019. The entrance examination for different courses will commence on May 27, 2019 and end on May 31, 2019.
Before applying online, students will be required to have a scanned (digital) image and the scanned copy of Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS applicants. There will be no individual communication to the respective candidates. Any update regarding the entrance exam result will be posted only on the official website of Hyderabad University.
