ICAI CA May Exams 2024: Registration for Main & PQC exams and foundation papers will start on Feb 2.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the examination schedule for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final May exams 2024. 

According to the official calendar, the CA Foundation course exams are scheduled for June 20, 22, 24, and 26. The Intermediate Group 1 exams will take place on May 3, 5, and 7, while Group 2 exams are set for May 9, 11, and 13. The CA Final exams will be held on May 2, 4, and 6 for Group 1, and on May 8, 10, and 12 for Group 2.

CA May 2024 Exams: Registration Schedule

Registration for the Main & PQC exams, as well as the foundation May exam 2024, will begin on February 2 and close on February 23. The deadline for submitting online examination application forms with a late fee of Rs 600/- or US $10 is March 2, 2024.

CA May 2024 Examination Fee

The registration fee for the Intermediate exam is Rs 1,500 for one group and Rs 2,700 for both groups. For the final course exam, it is Rs 1,800 for one group and Rs 3300 for both groups. The registration fee for the foundation exam is Rs 1500.

In a new development, candidates for foundation, intermediate, and final examinations have the option to choose between English and Hindi mediums for answering papers.

The ICAI noted in that official notification that the General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha is scheduled for 2024, with the notification pending. Consequently, the Examination Committee may reschedule the May 2024 CA Examination if it coincides with the General Election dates.

The May/June 2024 examinations will also take place at eight overseas examination centers, including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, and Muscat. The exam commencement timings at various centres will correspond to local times and will be held between 11.30am and 2.30pm.
