IGNOU is conducting entrance tests for Openmat, B.Sc N and B.Ed programmes on Sept 24

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is conducting entrance tests for Management Programmes (Openmat-xlii), Bachelor of Science Nursing (Post basic) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programmes for the sessions starting from January, 2018 on September 24, 2017. The university has deputed Regional Observers in all the 122 examination centres to ensure smooth conduct of the entrance test, said a statement from the varsity. The hall tickets for all MBA Openmat, B.Ed and BSc Nursing entrance examinations are available on the official website of the university.
The IGNOU website was not responding yesterday, but, the official portal is back now. "Generally, website refuses accessibility sometime during backup period everyday," an IGNOU official told NDTV.
According to the schedule the Openmat will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Bachelor of Science Nursing (Post basic) entrance will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM. The Bachelor of Education entrance test will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
"The tests are being organized in 122 Examination Centres accommodating 28,108 candidates," said N.P. Singh, Registrar, Student Evaluation Division, IGNOU.
The Hall-Tickets for all these tests have already been uploaded on the University website www.ignou.ac.in .
The candidates may download the hall ticket by entering their name / date of birth and report to the Examination Centre as mentioned on the hall ticket.
IGNOU Hall Ticket: What to do if you are not able to download it from website
In case candidates are unable to download the Hall-Ticket, they can contact the Regional Centre and obtain the information of Examination Centre allocated and report to the Examination Centre with a proof of submission of Entrance Test application form along with recent passport size photograph.
In such case they have to submit an undertaking at the Examination Centre stating that in the event of information furnished by them found to be incorrect, their candidature will be cancelled. Candidates must report at the Examination Centre 45 minutes before commencement of the Entrance Test.
