IIIT Delhi Begins Application Process For PhD; Apply Till March 22
New Delhi:
Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Delhi has announced the beginning of application process for PhD. The PhD program is being offered in 4 different disciplines. The application process began on March 1 and candidates can apply till March 22 on the institute's official website. To apply for the program, candidates do not necessarily need a valid GATE score. The selection process will involve written test and interview. The institute will provide a monthly stipend to the research scholars and will also extend financial aid to present papers in top international conference.

How to Apply
Step one: Visit the official link for PhD application: http://phdadmissions.iiitd.edu.in/
Step two: Enter the details required for registration. Make sure you enter the correct details. You won't be allowed to change the details after submission.
Step three: After registration, you would receive an application link on your registered email id. If you don't receive the application link in your inbox, check your spam folder or contact phd-admissions@iiitd.ac.in
Step four: Fill the application form correctly and submit it. Incomplete application forms will not be considered for shortlisting.
Note: There is no application fee for PhD programs.
Selection Process
The selection process for PhD in Computer Science and Engineering and PhD in Electronics and Communications Engineering will consist of three stages. In the first stage the candidates would be screened on the basis of their academic record. Shortlisted candidates will be then called for the second stage which will comprise of a written test. Candidates shortlisted after stage two will have to appear for an interview at IIIT Delhi.
The selection process for PhD Computational Biology and PhD in Mathematics will be decided by the IIIT Delhi authorities after the application process is over. The institute may conducts a written test and/or interview for shortlisting candidates.
