IIAP PhD Admission, Apply Online
New Delhi:
Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIAP), Bangalore has begun admission procedure for PhD and integrated MTech-PhD programs. Interested students, only after going through the official notification, properly can apply online for the academic programs mentioned above. It is important to note that the last date to apply online is 24 April 2017 (Monday). Interview will be held for selecting students. The interview for MTech-PhD programme will be held on 28-31 May 2017 and for PhD programme it shall be held from 5 June 2017 till 9 June 2017.
Interview will be held at IIA, Koramangala Block II, Bangalore. Original documents supporting the academic qualifications must be produced during the interview.

Candidates who have the following educational qualification are eligible to take part in the admission process:
It is important to note that candidates who have obtained the qualifying degree before 2013 are not eligible to apply.

Who can apply for IIAP Bangalore PhD and integrated MTech-PhD programme?
Candidates who have the following educational qualification are eligible to take part in the admission process:
- Candidates who are expected to complete their M.Sc., Integrated M.Sc. or B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech. degrees by August 2017
- Candidates who have qualified for JRF in the NET/ CSIR/ UGC exam
- Candidates who have scored 96 percentile or above in JEST 2017
- Candidates who have scored 97 percentile or above in GATE 2017
It is important to note that candidates who have obtained the qualifying degree before 2013 are not eligible to apply.
