Israel Government Scholarships 2018-19: Last Date November 30, 2017

Israel Government has invited application form eligible candidates for the Israel Government Scholarships 2018-19. There are 5 scholarships awarded for duration of 8 months for research/specialization from the Universities which are approved by the Israeli Council for Higher Education. There are also two short-term (summer school) scholarships for the students who seek to study Hebrew. The applications are invited only in the online mode on the folowing website: http://proposal.sakshat.ac.in/scholarship/. The last date to submit application is November 30, 2017.

Eligibility
There is no age limit for the scholarships.
For Comparative Study of Religions, Middle East Studies, and History of Jewish people, candidates should have a Master's degree in the relevant field with 55% marks. For Hebrew Language and Literature course, any student pursuing a post-graduate course in this field may apply. For all other courses, listed above the candidate must have a post-graduate degree in the relevant field with 60% marks.
Value of Scholarship
Partial Scholarship will cover part of the tuition fee, basic health insurance and a monthly allowance for one academic year (8 months only). Full Scholarship will cover complete tuition fee, basic health insurance and a monthly allowance for 8 months.
Accommodation, transportation and travel arrangements, to and fro from Israel, will have to be borne by the student.
