Paper 2A and 2B (BArch and BPlanning) examination was held on February 23 at 437 centres in the afternoon shift.

Out of the total number of candidates who had registered for the first session of JEE Main 2021 exam for admission to engineering courses in IITs, NITs and Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), only 81.2 per cent of them appeared for the examination.

Candidates will get at least one more chance to improve their scores on JEE Main this year. NTA will hold another session from May 24 to May 28, 2021.

As the May session of JEE Main 2021 will clash with their CBSE Class 12 board exams and other board exams, the NTA has asked candidates to submit their board exam roll-numbers and the name of the board when the JEE Main 2021application window opens for the May session. As per NTA notice, the application window for the May session will be open from May 4 to 12, 2021.

In case a candidate appears in only one session, that score will be considered for JEE Main rank, otherwise, the best of the two scores will be taken into account.
