JMI Admission 2017-2018: Jamia Millia Islamia Introduces Six New Courses

Jamia Millia Islamia, which a is an "A" grade Central University accredited by NAAC and one of the top most varsity in the country, is introducing six new courses including M.A.in International Relations (West Asian Studies), Masters in Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) and LL.M (Executive) with total intake of 190 students from the academic session 2017-18. Other new courses being introduced are Diploma in Pharmacy (Unani), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM), said a press release from Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI).
JMI decided to discontinue B.A (Hons) Hotel Management, Travel and Tourism (Selffinanced) course from the coming academic year, the decision was taken by Jamia Millia Islamia Academic Counil which also decided to introduce the new courses. While Post Graduate courses and Diploma in Pharmacy will be for two years duration (4 semesters), the Under Graduate programmes will be of four years (8 semesters).
Except M.A (International Relations-West Asian Studies) all other courses are self-financed. Thirty students each will be enrolled in M.A.in International Relations (West Asian Studies), LL.M (Executive), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management (BTTM) and Masters in Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) while 40 students will be admitted for Diploma in Pharmacy (Unani).
Candidates can apply for these courses online on JMI website at www.jmicoe.in from February 2, 2017 to March 3, 2017. Jamia Millia Islamia came out with the notification for the admission process for academic year 2017-2018 yesterday and the online application forms are made available till March 3.
