KEAM 2017: CEE Kerala Begins Application Process For Admission To B.Pharm. Lateral Entry Course

The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinatiosn (CEE), Kerala has begun online application for lateral entry to B.Pharm course. The last date to apply for the course is October 12, 2017.

New Delhi: The Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinatiosn (CEE), Kerala has begun online application for lateral entry to B.Pharm course. The last date to apply for the course is October 12, 2017. The entrance exam for selection of candidates will be conducted on October 22, 2017. The entrance exam will consist of one paper of two hours duration. The exam paper will have 120 objective questions and will of the standard of D Pharm course and will cover all twelve subjects of the course. 

Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have studied Diploma in Pharmacy in an institute approved by the Pharmacy Council of India and should have the Diploma in Pharmacy exam conducted by the State Board of D.Pharm. examinations or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks for D.Pharm. I and D.Pharm. II examinations.

Candidates should either have registered with the Pharmacy Council or should have applied for registration as they would need to produce the certificate at the time of registration.

There is no upper age limit for this course. 

Application Process

The application form can be filled on the official CEE, Kerala website (https://cee.kerala.gov.in/bpharmleonline2017/main/index.php). The application process involves the following main steps:

Step one: Registration using email id and phone number.

Step two: Filling application form after registration.

Step three: Application fee could be paid either online or through an e-challan. The fee for general candidates is Rs. 800 and for SC candidates is Rs. 400. There is no application fee for ST candidates.

Step four: Upload photograph, signature and certificates. You would need to upload the following certificates:
  • Nativity Proof
  • Income Certificate
  • Non-Creamy Layer Certificate/Community Certificate, if any for Category claim
  • Inter-caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Mark List of D. Pharm Part-1 and Part-11 examination
  • Certificate to prove age- Relevant page of SSLC/Birth Certificate/Passport

Step five: Submit and print the final submitted application form.
