New Delhi: State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has begun the online application process for MAH B.P.Ed. CET (Common Entrance Test) 2017. MAH B.P.Ed. CET is conducted for admission to first year of degree course in Bachelor of Physical Education leading to B.P.Ed. which is a 2 year regular full-time course. The online registration begins today. The selection process will consist of an online test and a field test. The online test and field test will be conducted at six different centres across Maharashtra. 

Important Dates

Commencement of online application process: May 4, 2017
Last date for online application: May 25, 2017
Issue of hall ticket: June 2, 2017
Date of online test: June 11, 2017
Date of field test: June 12-13, 2017
Declaration of result: June 20, 2017

Eligibility Conditions

Candidate must be an Indian national.

Candidate must have completed bachelor degree in any stream with minimum 50% marks and participation in inter-college/inter-zonal/district-level/school competitions in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/ IOA/ SGFI/ government of India or bachelor in physical education with 45% marks or bachelor degree in any discipline with 45% marks and physical education as one of the electives.

Application Process

Online application forms can be filled starting from May 4, 2017. The application forms can be accessed through both www.mahacet.org and www.dhepune.gov.in. Once you have completed the application process, take a printout of the completed application process as it will be needed at the time of admission. 

The application fee for all candidates from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), Open category candidates from Maharashtra, and Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates is Rs. 800. For all reserved category candidates belonging to Maharashtra, the application fee is Rs. 400.
