Maharashtra NEET 2017: Vacant Seats In Private Medical Colleges Up For Institutional Admission

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducted the mop up round for private medical colleges on August 24. The seats which have remained vacant at private medical colleges, including both the 8% state quota and NRI quota, have been surrendered to the respective institutes.

New Delhi: The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra conducted the mop up round for private medical colleges on August 24. The seats which have remained vacant at private medical colleges, including both the 8% state quota and NRI quota, have been surrendered to the respective institutes. The list of the vacant seats are available on the DMER website. These seats will be filled at Institutional Level, as per provision in clause No.16, Maharashtra Government Gazette, Medical Education and Drugs Department, Dated 18/08/2016. 

Students willing to apply for these available seats can submit their application to the concerned institute in person till 2:00 pm tomorrow, that is August 29. The selection list will be published on the notice board of the respective institute and on the website on August 29 after 5:00 pm. 

Candidates who are selected for admission will have to report for admission to the concerned institute on August 30, 2017 between 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Candidates who have bene wait listed can report for admission at the concerned institute against vacant seats if any on August 30 itself from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. 

All those candidates who are eligible as per NEET UG 2017 eligibility requirements can apply for institutional admission. Students who are admitted for Dental or other courses through State CET round are also eligible to apply. Students who are admitted in Government/Corporation Medical Colleges through State CET Cell are not eligible to apply.
