Meghalaya Board (MBOSE) Class 12 HSSLC 2017 Result HighlightsTotal 2215 candidates had applied for the exam in commerce stream out of which 2193 appeared in the exam. In science stream, total 3706 candidates had applied for the exam out of which 3662 appeared for the exam. The pass percentage for commerce students in Meghalaya board class 12 exam this year is 71.87 while for science stream students is 76.76.
The highlights of the MBOSE HSSLC 2017 result:
1. Kavita Joshi of Seven Set Annexe Higher Secondary School, Shillong is the first topper in commerce stream with 451 marks, followed by Purnima Paul of Nongthymmai Nepali Hr. Sec. School, Shillong who has scored 449 marks. The third topper in commerce stream is Rohit Das from Laban Bengalee Boys' Hr. Sec. School, Shillong with 442 marks.
2. In science stream Lawanaibok Kharphuli is the state topper with 468 marks followed by Sneha Deb Roy who has scored 461 marks and Bishal Deb who has scored 457 marks. All three students are from St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Shillong.
3. Total 1936 regular students appeared in the exam in commerce stream out of which 1454 passed. 257 non-regular students appeared in the exam out of which 122 passed the exam.
4. In science stream, 3370 students appeared out of which 2646 passed the exam and out of the 292 non-regular candidates who appeared in the exam 165 passed.
5. In Science stream, 9 out of 10 top scorers are from St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Shillong. In Commerce stream 7 toppers are from St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Shillong.
6. All 7 candidates in vocational stream passed the exam. One candidate in vocational stream passed with compartmental.
