NCERT Announces Doctoral Fellowship; Apply Till January 8, 2018
New Delhi:
National Council for Education and Research Training has invited application form eligible candidates for NCERT Doctoral Fellowship 2017. The fellowship is being offered to all such candidates who wish to pursue research in a field related to education. The fellowship will provide young researchers opportunity to research the field of education form different disciplinary perspectives and build the knowledge base of education in the contemporary context. There are a total of 10 fellowships and the last date to apply for the same is January 8, 2018.
Eligibility
The candidate should have good academic record with 60% marks at both graduate and post graduate level.
The candidates should not be over 35 years of age on the last date of receipt of application.
Candidates registered for Ph.D. degree in a recognized university/ or working toward their Ph.D. registration are also eligible to apply.
Priority Areas
The fellowship will be awarded to to research pertaining in the following areas:
Fellowship Amount
NCERT Doctoral Fellows will receive a fellowship of Rs.14,000/- per month (for Non-NET) and Rs.16,000/- per month (in case of NET qualified candidates) for a maximum period of three years. They will also receive a contingency grant of Rs.10,000/- per annum during this period.
