NEET PG 2020 Counselling For State Quota Seats From April 20

State counselling for NEET PG 2020 and NEET MDS 2020 will be held from April 20 to May 4, 2020, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) said in a notice.

State counselling for NEET PG 2020 and NEET MDS 2020 will be held from April 20 to May 4, 2020, Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) said in a notice. The first round of counselling for state quota seats will begin from April 20 and will be held by the respective state medical education authorities.

Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts the counselling process for 50 % All India Quota seats and 100% seats for Central Universities. The counselling process for the remaining seats at State Medical and Dental colleges is held by the respective state's medical education authorities.

The State counselling authorities will release the counselling schedule and modalities on their website. The registration process for counselling will be held in the online mode and allotment process will be done online too.

MCC which has completed the first round of counselling for All India Quota seats is allowing students to report for admission online (through email) and upload scanned copies of required documents. State Medical Education Authorities may also resort to similar means to complete the admission process during the lockdown period.

Meanwhile, MCC has extended the last date to report online for admission to April 24 for students who were allotted a seat in the first round of counselling. The registration and choice locking process for the first round of NEET PG counselling was completed before the announcement of lockdown on March 25. The schedule for second round of All India quota counselling has not been released by MCC yet.
