CBSE NEET Result 2018 Declared: Live Updates
CBSE has declared NEET result 2018 at cbseneet.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in on June 4, 2018. With the NEET result declaration, CBSE has brought an end to the month long wait of 13,26,725 candidates who had appeared for the exam on May 6, 2018. NEET 2018 result has been released a day before the scheduled date. As per the exam time table, the result was supposed to be declared tomorrow (June 5, 2018). A total of 7,14,562 candidates have been qualified for the admission. Bihar Girl Kalpana Kumari has emerged as the All India Topper in the NEET exam this year. Kalpana Kumari has scored 691 marks out of 720 in the exam which was held on May 6, 2018.

NEET exam is conducted by CBSE to grant admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses in India in Medical/Dental Colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/ Dental Council of India under the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry.

NEET result 2018: Here is the Cut-off details

June 4, 6.30 pm: A Supreme Court bench comprising justices Adarsh Kumar Goel and Ashok Bhushan issued notices to the centre, the CBSE and the Kerala government on the plea by a group of 170 medical aspirants and sought reply on the plea which challenged the Medical Council of India (MCI) norm laying down upper age limit of 25 years for general category aspirants to apply for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for MBBS and BDS courses.

June 4, 3.50 pm: From Tamil Nadu, as many as 45,336 students cleared NEET 2018 out of around 1.2 lakh candidates who have appeared for the exam, which is only less than 40% of the total students appeared.

June 4, 2.50 pm: This year, more OBC candidates appeared for the NEET exam than the General candidates. 5,56,621 OBC category students appeared in the exam while 4,66,213 students appeared in General category.

June 4, 2.50 pm: This year only one Transgender candidate has appeared for the NEET 2018 exam and that candidate qualified the exam. Last year 5 transgender candidates had qualified the NEET out of the total 8 candidates registered.

June 4, 2.30 pm: Out of the total 13,26,725 candidates registered for the exam, 12,69,922 candidates have appeared and 7,14,562 qualified for the admission to various medical and allied courses.

June 4, 1.29 pm: NEET 2018 Topper: Kalpana Kumari secures All India Rank 1 in NEET UG 2018 with 99.99 percentile. She has scored 691 out of 720, reports Indian Express.

June 4, 1.15 pm:
More than 7 lakh students have qualified the national medical entrance test. 6.3 lakh in general category qualify the exam.

June 4, 12.22 pm: NEET 2018 results have been declared.

June 4, 12.18 pm: For NEET 2018 counselling, candidates should check official websites: www.mohfw.nic.in, www.mcc.nic.in. For other seats, the official websites of the State/ Institutions should be checked.

June 4, 11.50 am: 'All  Candidates  appearing  in NEET (UG)–2018 must  remain  in touch  with  the  websites  of  CBSE,  MOHFW,  Medical Counselling Committee  (www.mcc.nic.in)  and Participating  States/Universities/  Institutions till  conclusion  of  final round of Counselling,' reads the official notification of NEET 2018.

June 4, 11.30 am: NEET result 2018 time confirmed. CBSE will announce the result at 2 pm today.

June 4, 11.25 am: In the latest development, Supreme Court refuses to stay the announcement of NEET result, reports news agency ANI.

June 4, 11.12 am: Candidates should note that, the record of NEET 2018 will be preserved up to 60 days from today (June 4, 2018).

June 4, 10.56 am: As of now NEET result 2018 time is uncertain.

June 4, 10.40 am: No  category wise  result  sheet  will  be  prepared for NEET 2018.

June 4, 10.30 am: For the merit list of seats other than 15% All India Quota, the result will be given to the DGHS, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India to provide the same to the Admitting Authorities.

June 4, 10.10 am: Admission through NEET 2018 scores will be through All India Quota Seats, State government quota seats, central institutions/ universities/ deemed universities, state/ management/ NRI quota seats in private medical/ dental colleges or private university and central pool quota seats.

June 4, 9.40 am: NEET result 2018 date confirmed.

June 4, 8.55 am: The result of  NEET (UG) may  be  utilized  by  other  entities  of  Central/State  Governments  for  admission  purpose  in accordance with their rules

June 4, 7.40 am: NEET 2018 was held in 136 cities at 2255 exam centres. A total of 580648 male candidates had appeared for the exam; 746076 female candidates had appeared for the exam
