NISER Bhubaneshwar Begins Application Process For PhD Programs
New Delhi:
National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneshwar has begun application process for PhD programs for 2017 summer session. The last date to complete application process is April 1, 2017. The admission process is being conducted for admission to PhD programs offered by 5 different schools at NISER. Each school will conduct a test and/or interview for selection of candidates. The test and interview would be conducted at the Jatni campus of the institute. The call letters would also be released separately by each school.

Last date for filling online application: April 1, 2017
List of short-listed candidates uploaded on NISER website: April 20, 2017

School of Mathematical Sciences: May 17-18, 2017
School of Biological Sciences: May 16-17, 2017
School of Chemical Sciences: May 22-23, 2017
School of Physical Sciences: May 18-19, 2017
School of Humanities and Social Sciences: May 15-16, 2017
How to Apply
The application process can be completed online on the NISER official website (http://www.niser.ac.in/phd-online). At the time of application, candidate should also upload soft copy of supporting documents proving their eligibility in a single pdf file. Candidates who wish to apply for more than one school should submit separate forms with appropriate supporting documents. The candidates applying to PhD programs do not need to submit any application fee.
The candidates who are shortlisted for the interview, must bring two sealed letters of reference in prescribed format (available on NISER website) with signature of referee on the envelope on the day of the interview.
