PSEB 10th, 12th Result 2018 Update

Punjab board results for class 10, 12 board exams likely to be delayed as a new update has come from the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB). The Board will conduct re-examination for the cancelled examination of class 10, 12. Re-exams will also be held where the exam dates clashed; many students had two papers on the same day. The exams will begin next week from 17 April and will continue till 20 April. The exam will be held from 12.00 pm to 3.15 pm. Re exams will be held for those centres where the exam was cancelled due to copying. Candidates shall have to pay Rs 100 fees per subject to appear for the re-exam.

Reports carried by different media outlets suggests that PSEB results 2018 for class 10, 12 board exams are expected this week. However with this recent update on re-exams, it is likely that Punjab Board results will be delayed. On the other hand, the result hosting portal of the Board, indiaresults.com, has begun registration for the result.
In March 2018, Punjab Education Minister Aruna Chaudhury had announced that PSEB will declare the class 10, 12 results within 15 days of the completion of the exam so that students won't have to mention 'result awaited' in the application form for higher education.
Meanwhile, the Board has included a poem on Battle of Saragarhi in class 5 Punjabi textbook, reported the Hindustan Times. The poem depicts the valour of 21 Sikh soldiers who fought the Afghans in 1897. The poem is included in chapter 20 of the class 5 Punjabi textbook. ‘Keeping in mind Punjab’s historical events, the board has included ‘Saragarhi ki Ladai’ poem in the Class-5 Punjabi textbook. We have reviewed all the textbooks of the Class 1 to 5 and made efforts in making the required changes in the textbooks. We hope that both teachers and students will like these textbooks and feel proud that they are aware about the Punjab’s history,’ the daily quoted Board chairman Manohar Kant Kalohia saying.
