The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will announce the Class 10 board exam result 2025 on Saturday. According to a BSEB notification, the results will be announced at noon today. Board officials, including its chairman Anand Kumar, will hold a press conference to formally announce the results, including the names of the toppers, pass percentages, and other key details. Once the press conference concludes, the result link will be activated on the board's official website, allowing students to check their results by entering the required details.

This year, the Class 10 exams were conducted from February 17 to 25, with approximately 15.85 lakh students appearing for the matric exams. Of these, 8,18,122 were girls, and 7,67,746 were boys. The examinations took place at 1,677 centres across the state. Each subject was worth 100 marks, and students needed to score at least 33% to pass. Those who do not meet the passing criteria will have the chance to appear for compartment exams.

The exams were conducted in two shifts each day: the first shift ran from 9.30 am to 12.45pm, and the second shift from 2pm to 5.15pm. According to the BSEB, 39 students were expelled from the Class 10 board exams for cheating and using unfair means.

Last year, a total of 16,94,564 students registered for the Class 10 exam, with 13,79,842 students appearing. The overall pass percentage was 82.91%.

Bihar Board 10th Result 2025 Highlights

For the past seven years, the Bihar Board has consistently been the first in the country to declare exam results. Last year, the Class 10 results were announced on March 31, with an overall pass percentage of 82.91%, nearly 2% higher than in 2023.

Shivankar Kumar from Purnia's District School secured the top spot in the state with 97.80% (489 marks). Adarsh Kumar of V High School, Movajidpur North, in Samastipur district, ranked second with 97.60% (488 marks).
