UP Board Class 12 Examination Result 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) started the UP Board Class 12 exams on February 24, 2025 and will conclude the exams on March 12, 2025. Around 27,05,017 students have registered for Class 12 board exam.

As per report, the results for the two classes will be announced by the end of April or beginning of May. The board will start the evaluation process for the exams after March 19, 2025 after teachers return from their Holi holidays. The answer sheets will be delivered to the evaluation centres on March 15-16, 2025. The assessment procedure and result preparation for UP Board exams will begin on March 17, 2025.

Once released, students will be able to check their results on the official website UPMSP by using their login credentials. Results will also be available via SMS and other digital platforms for easy access.

UP Board Exams 2025 are being conducted across 8,140 exam centers statewide, with over 54.37 lakh students participating. The UPMSP has arranged for 27.05 lakh students to appear for the Class 12 exams.

The board has prepared the evaluation method for examining the papers. One invigilator will be allowed to check only 45 papers of Class 12 in a day. The invigilators will undergo special training before starting the checking process. The training process will prepare invigilators for undertaking the evaluation process and informing their duties. The board has setup 261 centres for the checking process.
 

The board has also identified nine students and fourteen dummy candidates for using unfair means in exam. It noted that it will not examine the answer sheets of the students who violate the exam norms.

In order to qualify the Class 12 exam, the students are required to score a minimum of 33 per cent marks out of 100. Those who do not meet the passing criteria will have the chance to appear for compartment exams.

The UP Intermediate exams are conducted in two shifts. The first shift runs from 8 am to 11:15 am while the second starts from 2 pm to 5:15 pm. The first phase of UPMSP Class 12 practical exams were conducted from February 1 to 8, 2025 and the second phase of exams from February 9 to 16, 2025.

In 2024 around 82.60 per cent qualified in Class 12.  Girls achieved a higher pass percentage over boys in both the classes.  In class 12 exam, the overall pass percentage for girls stood at 88.42 per cent, while that of boys was 77.78 per cent.

Shubham Verma from Sitapur topped the Class 12 or Intermediate examination with 489 marks or 97.80 per cent.
