SRFTI Begins Application Process For Post Graduate Programme
New Delhi:
Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata has released admission notification for its three-year Post Graduate Programme in Cinema and two-year Post Graduate Programme in Television. The last date to apply online in May 10, 2017. SRFTI is an academic institute under Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. The institute will conduct a written examination for shortlisting candidates for an Interactive Orientation Session and viva-voce at the institute. The result for the written exam will be declared in June 2017.

Online Application process commences: April 12, 2017
Last date of application: May 10, 2017
Release of e-admit cards: May 17, 2017
Written entrance exam: May 21, 2017 (10:00 am to 1:00 pm for Cinema, 2 pm to 5 pm for Television)
Declaration of results for written exam: June 23, 2017
OC and Interview: July 10 - July 31, 2017
Eligibility
For 3 year Post Graduate Programme in Cinema
You should be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent. For Animation Cinema, you should be proficient in drawing.
For 2 year Post Graduate Programme in Television
Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent
Note: You can still apply if you have not received your graduation degree before the application date and can submit the same before the date of admission).
Application Process
You can apply through the official website for SRFTI (srfti.ac.in). You would need to submit the application fee in the offline mode through an e-challan. You will need to upload an image of the challan during filling the application form. The application process essentially has three steps - registration, filling application form, and final review and confirmation.
