Apply For 2018 Global Korea Scholarship; Last Date October 13, 2017

The Government of Republic of Korea has announced the '2018 Korean Government Scholarship Program'. The scholarship is for undergraduate degrees tenable at higher education institutes in Korea. The last date to apply for the scholarship is October 13, 2017. Total of 2 scholarships are reserved for Indian Nationals under this program. The academic program will be of 5 years duration which would also include one year of preliminary Korean Language Program. The Bachelor degree program will be of 4 years duration.
Eligibility
Applicant must be under the age of 25 years as on March 1, 2018.
Applicant must have graduates or is expected to graduate from High School. Those who have already completed their graduation are not eligible to apply. Also those who have graduated or are expected to graduate from a high school in Korea are not eligible to apply.
Applicant should either have a CGPA of 80% or should have been ranked within the top 20% of their entire high school period.
Applicants should go through the detailed eligibility conditions as available in the official notification which can be accessed on the MHRD website.
Application
Interested applicants would need to send their application directly to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, New Delhi on or before October 13, 2017 till 5 pm. The completed applications could be sent on the following address:

Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship benefits would include airfare, monthly stipend of 800,000 KRW per month, tuition fee of upto 5 million KRW, medical insurance among other grants.
