TISS Admission 2017: Last Date Extended To March 31 For Integrated BA-MA Programme Application Process
TISS Admission 2017: Apply For BA Integrated Programme Till March 31
New Delhi: The application process for admission to Integrated BA-MA programme in Social Sciences offered at various campuses of Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) will end on March 31. Candidates who have not applied for the course yet can do so through TISS official website. Apart from the integrated programme, the institute also offers a BA (Hons.) programme in Social Work with specialization in Rural Development which is offered at its Tuljapur campus. TISS will conduct an entrance test in April for admission to these programmes. 

Important Dates

Last date for filling online application: March 31, 2017
Issue of hall Tickets online: April 15, 2017
Entrance Test: April 30, 2017 (2:00 pm to 4:00pm)
Result declaration: May 9, 2017

How to Apply

Step one: Go to the official website for admission at TISS: admission.tiss.edu

Step two: Click on the Apply button for BA Programme.

Step three: Click on the relevant link to register and create your login id and password.

Step four: Login to your account and complete the application process. 

Applicants can pay application fee either online or through cash payment. Cash payment can be done at any SBI branch with an additional Rs. 50 charged as bank charge.

Application fees of Rs. 1025, for eligible candidates ( SC/ ST income less than 2.5lakhs and OBC-NC candidates with income less than 1 lakhthe fees would be Rs. 275) can be paid online through Credit card/ Debit Card/ Online transaction.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of an entrance test followed by a personal interview round. The entrance test will be of 90 minutes duration and will have two parts. Part A will be of 60 minutes duration and will have multiple choice questions on current affairs, social awareness, and logical and analytical reasoning carrying 60 marks. Part B will have descriptive questions in English. A candidate will have to write two short answers in 30 minutes. Part B will carry 40 marks.

Candidates who qualify Entrance Test will be called for a Personal Interview at Tuljapur campus.
