Written exam result has been announced for the Combined Defence Services or CDS (II) exam held on November 18. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the result online. 7650 candidates have qualified the exam. Qualified candidates will appear for the interview to be conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB) of the Ministry of Defence for which they have to register on the Indian Army portal within two weeks. The date, centre of the SSB interview will be intimated to candidates in due course of time.

Combined Defence Services is held for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 147th Course; Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala; Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (206 F(P)); Officers Training Academy, Chennai 110th SSC Course (NT)(for Men); Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 24th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course.
Such candidates are also required to submit original certificates supporting their age, qualification and other claims within two weeks of completion of the SSB interview. Original certificates should not be sent to the UPSC; the Commission has released details in this regard in an official notification.
