According to the schedule published by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority, the UPTET 2017 admit card is expected to be released today. The UP-TET 2017 exam will be held on October 15, 2017. UPTET online application process started on August 25 and was concluded on September 8. Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UP-TET) 2017 results will be used for appointing teachers in schools from Class 1 to Class 8. According Amar Ujala, more than 9 lakh candidates will appear for the UPTET 2017. Among these 9.76 lakh candidates, more than 3.49 lakh applications have been submitted for primary teachers and more than 6.27 lakh aspirants have applied for the higher primary.
UPTET 2017 exam will be held in two session on October 15. The first morning session will be held from 10 am to 12.30 pm while the after noon session will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.

UPTET 2017 will comprise of an objective type question paper and there will be two papers: one for teachers for class 1 to 5 and one for class 6 to 8.

The Uttar Pradesh Cabinet on last month approved changes in the appointment process of primary school teachers making written examination compulsory for aspirants.
The Cabinet in a meeting presided by the state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath approved an amendment in the UP Basic Shiksha Adhyapak Sewa Niyamawali (rules), according to this amendment a written examination of 60 marks has been made compulsory while 40 marks will be for educational qualifications, the minister said.
Only those candidates who have cleared TET (Teacher's Eligibility Test) exam will be eligible for the written exam, reported Press Trust of India.
