WBJEE 2017: WBJEEB Expected To Declare Result Today At Wbjeeb.in

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is expected to declare the result for WBJEE 2017 today. According to the schedule on the official website for WBJEE, the result for the exam conducted on April 23, 2017 will 'tentatively' be released today.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board may declare WBJEE 2017 result today
New Delhi: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) Board is expected to declare the WBJEE 2017 results today. According to the schedule on the official website, the result for the WBJEE exam conducted on April 23, 2017 will 'tentatively' be released today. The WBJEE results 2017 will be available in the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in, once it has been released. There has been no confirmation form the board yet. Any update about the declaration of the result will be posted on the official website itself, till then students should wait patiently. 

WBJEEB conducts many exams for admission to various courses. WBJEE is conducted by the board for admission to degree level engineering, architecture and pharmacy courses in universities, government colleges as well as self-financing engineering and technological institutes in West Bengal.  

WBJEE exam consists of two papers. Paper I has questions from Mathematics while Paper II has questions from Physics and Chemistry. 

The combination of papers in which studnets needed to appear for admission to different courses is given below:

1.    For any Engineering/Technology/Architecture Course appearing in both Paper-I and Paper-II was compulsory.
2.    For admission to Pharmacy Course of the Jadavpur University, appearing in both Paper-I and Paper-II was compulsory.
3.    For admission to any Pharmacy Course other than that of the Jadavpur University, appearing in mathematics was not compulsory. Score in 'Physics + Chemistry' (paper-II) only shall be considered.
4.    Students appearing in both Paper-I and Paper-II are also eligible for admission to Pharmacy courses. 

After result declaration the board will begin the counselling procedure for qualified candidates.
