The Indian Air Force (IAF) has issued the Agniveer Vayu recruitment notification, offering aspiring candidates an opportunity to join the force

The application process is scheduled to begin on January 7, 2025, with a deadline set for  Jan 27

The online examination will commence on March 22

Science Subjects: Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and English, scoring at least 50% overall and 50% in English

Or, completed a 3-year Engineering Diploma (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, CS, IT, Automobile, or Instrumentation) with 50% overall and in English

Or, completed a 2-year vocational course with Physics and Mathematics, scoring 50% overall and 50% in English (in the course or 10th/12th if not included)

Other than Science Subjects:
Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English from a recognised board

Or, passed 2-yr vocational course from recognized boards with 50% aggregate and 50 marks in English (in course/10+2/matric if not in course)

Test Format: The online objective test will be bilingual (English & Hindi), except for the English paper

Science Subjects: 60-minute test covering Physics, Mathematics, and English (10+2 CBSE syllabus)

Other than Science Subjects: 45-minute test covering English (10+2 CBSE syllabus) and RAGA (Reasoning & General Awareness)

Marking pattern: One mark for each correct answer, zero marks for unattempted questions, and a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer
