How Delhi Aims To Identify Gifted Students

Around 6,000 students from Delhi's government schools in classes six and nine were selected based on academic performance for psychological testing under "Project Abhishikt"

The first round, the Culture Fair Intelligence Test (CFIT), will assess intellectual ability non-verbally and is scheduled for September 28

Students scoring above 80% in CFIT will proceed to the second round, the Intelligence Quotient (IQ) test

Students who pass the IQ test will be transferred to 15 specially designated schools for advanced theoretical and practical learning

NCERT-based curriculum will include subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Computer Science, Social Studies

Students will receive free materials for science experiments, field trips, museum visits, and village tours
