UGC chief Jagadesh Kumar announced the abolition of score normalisation for CUET-UG and UGC-NET this year

No normalisation of scores will be required this year since both exams will be conducted in a single shift for a subject, Mr Kumar told PTI

Normalisation adjusts scores to make them comparable across multiple sessions of the same exam

This year, CUET-UG will span from May 15 to 24, adopting the OMR mode for wider accessibility
