Shimla: A total of 29,421 voters out of the 4.8 millionelectors who exercised franchise in Himachal Pradesh used none of the above(NOTA) option in the Lok Sabha elections, an election official said on Friday.
The highest number of voters who used NOTAoption was in Kangra, followed by Shimla, Hamirpur and Mandi parliamentaryseats.
NOTA option was provided to the voters by theElection Commission for the first time in this election under which people weregiven the choice to reject the candidates fielded by the various politicalparties.
