Bhopal: BJP Vice-President Uma Bharti was today made the campaign in-charge of Uttarakhand ahead of the coming Lok Sabha elections.
"I will ensure that BJP will emerge victorious in all the five Lok Sabha seats in the hill state and I will work with full dedication with the party workers to achieve this," Bharti said, expressing gratitude to BJP President Rajnath Singh for entrusting her with the responsibility.
The former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister is at present an MLA from Charkhari in Uttar Pradesh.
Bharti said she would be able to prove herself in Uttarakhand and also ensure that whenever Assembly polls were held in the hill state, BJP would return to power.
