"Congress,RJD and even Chief Minister Nitish Kumar miss noopportunity to tell people particularly the minorities that if NarendraModi comes to power, he will divide the country on thebasis of religion," Mr Singh said.
"But, the truth is that Congress for the sake of power facilitated the partition of the country after Independence against the will of Mahatama Gandhi," he alleged.
Criticising Congress' predictions that Mr Modi would be 'divisive' if he becomes the prime minister, Mr Singh questioned why the Gujarat Chief Minister did not divide his state after being elected thrice.
"Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Janata Dal (United) believe in creating fear psychosis among Muslims to corner their votes," Mr Singh alleged.
The BJP President hit back at Congress' first family and claimed that though they (Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi) have taken Gandhi's name but it was the BJP which was truly following Mahatama Gandhi's idea.
Mr Singh also lambasted the Manmohan Singh-government for 'lowering' the prestige of the nation by 'stooping' before China and Pakistan.
"China claims Indian territory in Arunachal Pradesh and Ladakh and the government remains a mute spectator...During the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) rule after the Pokhran nuclear tests, Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited Beijing and it was forced to shed all claims over Sikkim," he claimed
