New Delhi: Egyptian President Adly Mansour has wished India's prime minister-designate Narendra Modi success in his new responsibility and expressed his desire to further develop strong bilateral relations.
In a message, Mr Mansour congratulated Mr Modi on "conclusion of the elections in India and the emergence of the Bharatiya Janata Party as the winner of these elections".
He wished Mr Modi "success in his new responsibility to achieve the aspirations of the people of India for progress and prosperity.
"The President also expressed his wishes to further develop the strong relations which exist between Egypt and India", a statement from the Egyptian embassy here said Tuesday.
