Chennai:
The DMK on Thursday inked a seat-sharing agreement with Dalit party Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) allotting it Tamil Nadu's Chidambaram constituency for the general elections.
A joint statement issued in Chennai by DMK and VCK said the latter has been allotted the Chidambaram constituency.
With this, the DMK has concluded its seat-sharing deals with its four allies - Muslim outfits MMK and IUML- and Dalit parties VCK and PT, giving them one seat each in Tamil Nadu, which has 39 Lok Sabha constituencies.
