Kolkata:
The Election Commission today rubbished allegations that some booths were rigged in yesterday's polls in West Bengal.
"There has been absolutely free and fair polls. The complaint and allegation is not correct," Election Commission's special observer in West Bengal Sudhir Kumar Rakesh told reporters in Kolkata.
When asked further about the allegations, he said, "I will dispute this. If some party doesn't have an agent then we can't provide that."
The CPI(M) and Congress have accused the ruling Trinamool Congress of booth capturing and vote rigging during elections for the nine Lok Sabha seats yesterday and demanded a repoll in several booths.
