Viji and Biju are a newly-married couple. They have been married to politics for a while but did not realise even their honeymoon will be surrounded with politics.
CPM MP from Allatur P K Biju married Viji on the 30th of May in Thiruvananthapuram. Both active members of the SFI -- the students wing of CPM, went around for 5 years before tying the knot. And their first stop after marriage -- the first session of the 15th Lok Sabha.
"On the day after we got married we took a flight and we are here. He had to take oath; it is such a rush," said Viji.
"We did not plan it this way but since it's happened this way we are ok with it," put forth P K Biju.
As Biju and Viji walk the corridors of Parliament, their honeymoon seems restricted to New Delhi.
On the 9th, when parliament takes a break they will return to Biju's constituency for a series of meetings, but will be back 20 days later for the budget session.
