Aam Aadmi Party founder Arvind Kejriwal is leading Time magazine's readers poll of 100 Most Influential People in the world with the highest percentage of 'yes' votes. The BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi is second.
The poll closed yesterday and the results will be announced today.
The question asked was - Should Indian politician Arvind Kejriwal be included on the #TIME100? 3,168,308 votes were registered - 71.5% said Yes, 28.5% said No.
The Indian politicians have bested popular celebrities like American singers Katy Perry, who is third, and Justin Beiber at 4.
A number of people from the entertainment world follow - Benedict 'Sherlock' Cumberbatch has been pushed down to number 6.
Congress party vice president Rahul Gandhi, 43, is ranked 40th on the list - with 96,070 votes. Of these, 16.5 per cent say Mr Gandhi should be included on the list and 83.5 % say he should not.
Each year, Time publishes an editor-curated list of the 100 most influential people in the world.
Before the issue comes out, Time runs an online poll where readers can cast their vote for where politicians, actors, musicians and athletes should rank on the list.
