Jaipur: A herd of Tharparkar cows and three Arab horses are among the movable assets of BJP rebel Jaswant Singh, who today filed nomination papers for Lok Sabha elections as an Independent candidate from Rajasthan's Barmer.
The movable assets of Singh are valued at Rs 1,49,83,510, which included Rs 51,570 cash in hand and immovable property worth Rs 6,14,50,000.
The value of movable assets of his wife Sheetal Kumari is Rs 77,56,480, while the value of her immovable assets stands at Rs 3,62,35,000.
The former Union minister has 51 Tharparkar cows kept in Jaisalmer and Barmer and three Arab horses (two of them gifted by the Prince of Saudi Arabia and one born in India), according to an affidavit submitted by him to the Election Commission.
Singh owns one tractor, one Fiat car, one Tata Safari and one Tata Marina car and his wife has three vehicles, including two Toyota Innovas, it said.
The Singh couple has no liability, shows the affidavit.
