Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh:
Cautioning Dalit voters against getting carried away by "hype" created by BJP around Narendra Modi, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati today asked them to vote for her party unitedly and make her the Prime Minister.
Speaking at a rally in Faizabad, Mayawati asked Dalits to ensure that their votes were "not divided".
She said, on the polling day, they should come up with a "united voting pattern in favour of BSP". She urged them to make her the Prime Minister.
Attacking Narendra Modi, the BSP chief held him responsible for the Gujarat riots.
She said if he became the Prime Minister, the country would face the "threat of communal riots".
