General VK Singh gave the credit of his victory to the 'Modi wave'
Ghaziabad:
Ghaziabad's newly-elected MP V K Singh today said he would soon meet Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav over the "deteriorating law and order situation" in the NCR region of Ghaziabad.
"Law and order is a state subject. I would meet CM Akhilesh Yadav soon to bring his attention to the deteriorating law and order situation here," the BJP leader told reporters.
"I would also meet senior police officials and members of the district administration in this regard," General Singh said.
On his debut victory in the Lok Sabha polls, General Singh said the credit for his victory goes to "Modi wave, anti- incumbency factor against the Congress and the hard work of the party workers."
General Singh defeated Congress' Raj Babbar from Ghaziabad constituency with a record margin of 5.67 lakh votes in the recently-concluded Lok Sabha elections.
