Kerala has 20 Lok Sabha constituencies - Kasargod, Kannur, Vadakara, Wayanad, Kozhikode, Malapuram, Ponnani, Palakkad, Alathur, Thrissur, Chalakkudy, Ernakulam, Idukki, Kottayam, Alappuzha, Mavelikkara, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, Attingal, and Thiruvananthapuram
Election Commission had announced polling in a single phase in all 20 seats of Kerala on April 26.

The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) achieved a landslide victory, securing 19 out of 20 seats and garnering over 47 per cent of the total votes cast. The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), despite forming the government at the centre, failed to win any seats in Kerala, though it received about 15 per cent of the vote share. The ruling Left Democratic Front (LDF) suffered a defeat, winning only one seat and seeing its vote share decrease from 40 per cent in the 2014 general elections to 36 per cent in 2019.
In 2014, Communist Party of India won 1 seat, Communist Party of India (Marxist) won five seats, Congress won eight seats, Indian Union Muslim League won two seats, Kerala Congress won one seat. Revolutionary Socialist Party won one seat, and two seats were won by independent candidates.
Kerala's population is about 3.5 crores. There are a total of 2.61 crore voters-- 1,26,81,992 male voters and 1,34,64,688 female voters. There are 173 third gender voters.
