About Lakshadweep Lok Sabha Election Results

Lakshadweep, which comprises of 36 islands and was constituted on November 1, 1956, has only one reserved Lok Sabha constituency, also known as Lakshadweep. Elections for the island's only Lok Sabha constituency, which is a Union Territory, were conducted on April 11, which was the first phase of the Lok Sabha Elections.

In 2019, the Nationalist Congress Party or NCP won the Lakshadweep seat. The candidate of the NCP who won the Lakshadweep seat, was Mohammed Faizal Padippura.

The population of Lakshadweep is approximately 64,000, according to 2011 Census data. The male population is 33,123 and the female population is 31,350, according to the 2011 Census.

The number of people who voted in Lakshadweep were around 43,239, according to data from the 2014 elections.
